Two Anti-corrosion Methods For Pipelines

Carbon steel pipelines are often corroded in the course of use, and suitable anti-corrosion measures should be selected to extend their service life. The anti-corrosion methods listed below are effective and widely used.
Hot-dip galvanizing coating
Hot-dip galvanizing is a method of coating the inner and outer surfaces of carbon steel pipes. The carbon steel pipe is immersed in a high-temperature molten zinc solution to form a zinc layer of uniform thickness, strong adhesion, and good corrosion resistance. By this method, the steel pipe can be protected from rust and achieve long-term corrosion resistance.
Polyethylene anti-corrosion
Polyethylene anticorrosion refers to the polyethylene powder dissolved in hot water or solvent is sprayed onto the surface of carbon steel pipe to form a layer of uniformly dense, strong adhesion, anti-corrosion, good weather resistance of the protective layer. It has excellent high and low temperature performance, can be used for a long time at room temperature, and also has self-healing function.
