European Union CE marking regulations for structural steel tubes

The standard EN 10219-1 applies to welded steel tubes and pipes, cold-formed or not heat-treated, including: round, square or rectangular tubes; the mode of CE marking for EN 10219-1 shall be: System 2+.

EN 10219-1 steel pipe CE certification process

1) Conduct type test, EN 10219-1 standard requirements for structural steel pipe CE certification test items:
● Chemical composition test items are: Carbon C, Silicon Si, Manganese Mn, Phosphorus P, Sulfur S, Nitrogen N;
● Tensile tests shall be performed in accordance with EN10002-1;
● Impact test according to EN10045-1;
● Dimensional tolerances and cross-sectional characteristics shall be in accordance with EN 10219-2:2006, including: outer contour dimensions, wall thickness, out-of-roundness, concavity and convexity, verticality of side edges, outer contour of corners, torsion, and straightness.
2) Establish FPC factory production control system;
3) Issue DoP (Declaration of Performance).

● Attached FPC certificate number;
● The basic characteristics of the product as listed in Table ZA.1 of the standard EN 10219-1:2006.
4) Affixing the CE Marking symbol
The authorization number of the issuing authority of the FPC certificate.
● Manufacturer's name or trademark and production address;
The last two digits of the year of the first CE marking.
