What is API 6D,API 608,ISO 17292 Hard Seal-Floating Ball Valve
API 6D,API 608,ISO 17292 Hard-seal floating ball valve is a novel valve design that uses a ball as the shut-off element. Featuring simple structure, reliable sealing, long service life, and high-pressure/corrosion resistance, it is widely used in petroleum, chemical processing, and other industries.
Structure of Hard-seal Floating Ball Valve
The valve primarily consists of a valve body, ball, seat, sealing ring, and stem. The ball serves as the critical component with a floating structure that enables free rotation for reliable opening/closing operation. The seat and sealing ring together form the ball's sealing system, achieving zero leakage and ensuring valve reliability.
Working Principle of Hard-seal Floating Ball Valve
The valve controls medium flow through sealing between the ball and seat. When open, the ball is pushed away from the seat, allowing smooth medium passage; when closed, the ball is pressed against the seat to shut off flow. Opening/closing is achieved by rotating the stem.
