What is 3LPP Coated Pipe
Three-layer polyolefin coating consists of a first layer of fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE), a second layer of chemically modified polyethylene or polypropylene adhesive, and an outer layer of polypropylene. These protective coatings are applied in fully automated pipe pre-processing plants, where FBE is applied via electrostatic spraying, and polypropylene is extruded onto the pipe.
