LSAW (Large-Diameter Submerged Arc Welding) is a type of large-diameter steel pipe. It is made by pre-bending hot-rolled steel plates or coils into open pipes, and then fusing them into a straight weld seam through internal and external double-sided submerged arc welding (SAW). Its core process involves using a flux layer to melt the welding wire and base material under a burning electric arc, thereby achieving high-quality welding. Finally, it is manufactured through forming and other expansion processes, and is specifically designed for high-pressure, long-distance transportation pipelines for fluids such as oil and natural gas.
