Rather, it refers to a general term for steel pipes made with Q235B carbon structural steel as the base material, formed through a straight seam welding process, and further treated with various corrosion-resistant surface treatments. It is an economical and efficient pipe material that achieves corrosion resistance through post-treatment.

Corrosion Resistance Treatment Methods for Q235B Welded Pipe Steel

1. Metal Coating: Represented by hot-dip galvanizing, this method forms a dense zinc layer on the steel surface, providing both physical barrier and cathodic protection for corrosion resistance.

2. Organic Coating: This method uses materials such as epoxy resin and polyethylene to form a continuous protective film. A three-layer PE structure (epoxy base layer - adhesive layer - polyolefin top layer) achieves excellent chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical protection.

3. Alloy Coating: This method uses techniques such as thermal spraying to form metallic coatings such as aluminum-magnesium alloys, combining corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and high-temperature resistance.

4. Chemical Conversion: This method uses treatments such as phosphating and passivation to form a surface conversion film. It is often used as a pretreatment before coating to enhance coating adhesion and corrosion resistance.
