Strength: It has low yield strength and tensile strength and is not considered for applications that require high strength. Although it can be used in various structural and general applications.
Weldability: It is famous for its high weldability as it can be easily welded by standard techniques such as gas welding, arc welding and resistance welding. This makes it suitable for use in connecting structures or elements.
Corrosion resistance: It has limited corrosion resistance and tends to rust when exposed to moisture or harmful environments. Therefore, to maximize protection against corrosion, appropriate surface treatment or coating is recommended.
