JIS G3454 STPG370 is a Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) specification for carbon steel pipe for low and medium pressure lines, a plain carbon steel, labelled as STPG370 ('370' means the lower limit of tensile strength is 370MPa) is a medium-high strength carbon steel pipe.

Tensile strength (σb): ≥370MPa, significantly higher than ordinary carbon steel pipe (e.g. 335MPa for JIS G3452 SGP).
Yield strength (σs): ≥215MPa, to ensure pressure stability.
Elongation (δ):
Longitudinal specimen ≥ 30% (wall thickness ≥ 8mm), wall thickness thinning elongation requirements gradually reduced

Process test
Flattening test: verify the plastic deformation ability of steel pipe, flattening coefficient is 0.08.
Bending test (optional): applicable to small diameter pipe (nominal calibre ≤ 40A), bending core radius is adjusted according to the pipe diameter.
