A53 GRB welded pipe is a type of straight seam welded pipe made of carbon steel, used for general-purpose pipelines for steam, water, gas, and air. A53 GRB carbon steel straight seam welded pipes are generally not coated with anti-corrosion coatings and are sent to customers in bare pipe form. Chemical composition of A53 GRB straight seam welded steel pipe: Carbon ≤ 0.30, Manganese: 0.29~1.06, Phosphorus: ≤ 0.035, Sulfur: ≤ 0.035, Silicon: ≥ 0.10, Chromium: ≤ 0.40, Nickel: ≤ 0.40, Copper: ≤ 0.40, Molybdenum: ≤ 0.15, Vanadium: ≤ 0.08. Forming Process of Straight Seam Steel Pipes

Straight seam steel pipes need to undergo mechanical performance tests, flattening tests, and expanding tests, and ensure compliance with standard requirements. The pipes should be able to withstand a certain internal pressure, and if necessary, undergo a pressure test of 2.5 MPa, maintaining it without leakage for 1 minute. Eddy current testing can replace hydraulic testing. According to the standard GB7735 "Eddy Current Testing Method for Steel Pipes", eddy current testing is performed by fixing the probe on a frame, maintaining a distance of 3-5mm between the probe and the weld seam, and rapidly scanning the entire weld seam. The eddy current flaw detector automatically processes and classifies the flaw signals to achieve the purpose of flaw detection. After flaw detection, the welded pipes are cut into specified lengths using a flying saw and then taken off the production line with a turnover rack. The two ends of the steel pipe should be flat and chamfered, and marked with printing. Before leaving the factory, the finished pipes are bundled into hexagons and packaged.
