S235JR Welded Pipe Description

S235 JR Spiral steel pipe is a spiral steel pipe made by bending strips or coils in a spiral shape and welding the inner and outer seams using double-sided submerged arc automatic welding. It can be widely used in water, electricity, chemical industry, and other fields. The welding process of spiral welded pipe adopts submerged arc welding. This is a welding method that uses an electric arc as a heat source. The arc burns under the cover of granular fusible flux, and the flux melts to form a slag bubble, which surrounds the liquid molten pool so that the arc light is not exposed. The metal electrode used is a continuously fed bare welding wire.
