L450 welded spiral steel pipe Description
L450 spiral welded pipe is made of L450 grade (minimum yield strength ≥ 450MPa) low alloy high-strength steel, through the spiral forming + welding process of steel pipe, belongs to the pipeline steel (' L' that is, Linepipe abbreviation) 26. L' is the abbreviation of Linepipe). Its implementation standard covers API 5L and GB/T 9711, applicable to high-pressure fluid transport and structural engineering.
Chemical composition: based on low alloy steel, containing C ≤ 0.12%, Mn ≤ 1.65%, and add Nb, V and other micro-alloying elements to refine the grain, Carbon equivalent (CEV) ≤ 0.45%, balanced strength and weldability.
Strength indicators: yield strength ≥ 450MPa, tensile strength ≥ 530-760MPa, elongation ≥ 21%.
Low temperature toughness: pass -20℃ impact test, adapt to cold environment.
Corrosion resistance
Containing Cr and Ni elements to enhance corrosion resistance, combined with 3PE anti-corrosion layer (epoxy powder + adhesive + polyethylene) or epoxy coating, it can resist corrosive media such as seawater and salt spray.
Welding and forming process
Adopting spiral forming + double-sided submerged arc welding/high-frequency welding process, the quality of weld seam is stable and the heat-affected zone is small, which is suitable for large calibre products with OD Φ219-Φ3500mm, wall thickness 6 It is suitable for the production of large calibre pipes with OD Φ219-Φ3500mm and wall thickness 6-25.4mm.
