EN10217 SAW Pipes For Pressure Purpose

EN10219 tubes are European standard non-alloyed circular welded steel tubes for pressure environments. The width of the strip used for the production of spiral submerged arc welded pipes shall be not less than 0.8 times the diameter of the pipe or not more than 3 times the diameter of the pipe. The finished pipe shall not include welds used to join lengths of cold or hot rolled steel strip, or spiral welds used to preform sheet metal, except. For spiral welds of submerged arc welded steel pipes, when delivered with welds partially joining lengths of strip, they shall conform to the weld procedure specified in Annex A, except that the weld procedure shall be as specified in Annex B, and the weld procedure shall be as follows
The welds shall be tested and examined in accordance with the provisions of the Welding Procedure in Annex A. The welds shall be tested and examined as if they were spiral welds.
