High Corrosion API 5CT Casing Pipe

API 5CT L80 Casing Pipe is designed to provide structural support and withstand the pressures and temperatures encountered in oil and gas wells. It is a medium-strength grade with a minimum tensile strength of 655 MPa and a yield strength ranging from 552 MPa to 655 MPa. The L80 grade is known for its enhanced resistance to corrosion, particularly in environments with high levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S), making it suitable for use in both sweet and sour service conditions.

The L80 grade is further categorized into L80-1, L80-9Cr, and L80-13Cr, each with different chromium content that influences its corrosion resistance properties. L80-1 is the standard grade with no special alloying, L80-9Cr has a chromium content of 8% to 10%, and L80-13Cr has a higher chromium content of 12% to 14%, which significantly improves its resistance to CO2 corrosion.
