Quality Inspection of A53 Grade B Resistance Straight Seam Welded Pipe
The quality inspection of A53 Grade B ERW resistance straight seam welded pipe strictly follows the ASTM A53 standard. Each welded pipe undergoes a hydrostatic pressure test, with the test pressure not lower than the specified minimum and the pressure holding time not less than 5 seconds to ensure no leakage. Simultaneously, non-destructive electrical testing methods are used for continuous inspection of the weld seam, and samples are taken for tensile tests (yield strength ≥ 240 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 415 MPa) and flattening tests to verify its mechanical and technological properties.
