DIN17175 St45-8 45-4 Spiral Carbon Pipe
DIN 17175 St45 steel pipes are used in the construction of boilers, pipes, pressure vessels and equipment operating at temperatures up to 600 °C and at the same time required to meet high pressures, where total stresses and associated scaling conditions may increase or decrease the temperature limits.
DIN 17175 ST45 tube is a mild steel pipe with a low carbon content and therefore a low price. Their maximum carbon content is 0.21% and their manganese content ranges from 0.4-1.20%. The chemical composition of DIN 17175 grade St 45 carbon steel pipe allows it to be easily formed. Therefore, we can provide steel pipes in special shapes such as circular, rectangular, etc.
The carbon content in ST45 carbon steel boiler tubes is lower and its hardness is not as good as high carbon content pipes. However, their surface toughness can be improved through the carburizing process.
